Learn about add⁃ons for your massage.

  • Cupping is a technique that uses cups and applies “negative pressure” through suction. This increases blood flow to the area which is very beneficial with healing injuries and scar tissue.

  • CBD oil is oil that is infused with CBD which is derived from cannabis WITHOUT the presence of THC. We use “Traumica Maxx” from the local brand - NW Therapeutics.

  • Hot stones are incredibly relaxing but also a great tool to help your muscles relax and let go so you can get more benefits out of your massage. Salt stone massage is done using Himalayan salt stone which provides extra benefits through the naturally occurring minerals in the stones.

Frequently Asked

  • Yes! Please contact us if you don’t see your insurance in the list below:
Regence BCbs, Tri-West, UMR, United Health, CHP of Washington, Car Accident, L&I, Providence, Premera

  • Come hydrated, ready to relax and set your intentions for massage. Is this session for relaxation? Pain relief? Injury recovery? Your massage therapist and you will have a brief discussion about your goals for massage.

You will be asked to dress down to at least underwear (underwear is optional!) but if you are uncomfortable with taking a piece of clothing off, please let us know! This is YOUR session, not ours. We want you to get all the benefit you can.

During the massage you are welcome to be silent, to talk or a little of both- again, this is up to you. You are even welcome to say “I would like to be quiet now”.

Want more pressure? Less pressure? Feel free to request us to adjust the pressure.

You might even fall asleep, or have a small emotional release! These things could be uncomfortable but understand we are non judgmental and wanting to hold a safe space for our client.

  • Even though massage can not reverse Arthritis, massage increases blood flow- which is needed for decreasing inflammation and pain. You will feel a temporary decrease in arthritis pain after your massage.

  • Even though massage is not meant to be a painful experience, you may experience some “hurt so good” feelings! This is especially if you’re coming in with very tight muscles, imbalances etc.

With that being said, the massage should not be unbearable. The goal is NOT to reach incredible soreness the next day (even though some people like that!)

Want to prevent unnecessary soreness? Come to your massage hydrated! 1/2 gallon of water MINIMUM is recommended- up to 1 gallon.
